Membership

Membership is available to any of John Tower(1) descendants (by birth, adoption or marriage to a verified Tower member).  To become a member of this society please submit a completed application (linkage below) as instructed, so that we can confirm your relationship to John Tower(1). Your application must include your membership fee.

Please be advised that we have recently been notified, that a substantial fee will be placed on any check that is deposited into our account that does not have a 9 digit routing number. Unfortunately, this policy affects many of our Canadian members’ checks. The Board of Directors has discussed this and we ask that for those members affected, to please pay by Paypal. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Membership Benefits

The Tower Genealogical Society publishes a very informative newsletter named The Tower Talk Newsletter. Paid members are entitled to receiving it printed and mailed, or electronically attached to the e-mail as a pdf. file.  The newsletter is published by  TGS board member who volunteers their time and skills, with information usually provided by the members.  While all efforts are to publish timely newsletters, we cannot provide guaranteed service.  

Volunteers are vital TGS sustenance and longevity.

The newsletter web page provides linkage to download an assortment of archived newsletters.  There remains a plethora of information to be gleamed from the archived newsletters!  Please check it periodically as it is an ongoing effort and archived newsletters are always being added.
